As a weight-inclusive practice specializing in recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating and chronic dieting, we want you to find ease and joy in nourishing yourself again.
About Jordan DeBoard Nutrition
At Jordan DeBoard Nutrition Counseling, our mission is to empower individuals
to cultivate a healthy and joyful relationship with food and their bodies. We
strive to provide compassionate, transparent, and high-quality care that
embraces body inclusivity and rejects diet culture. Through personalized
support and evidence-based practices, we guide our clients on a journey
towards intuitive eating and improved well-being, fostering an environment where
everyone feels heard, validated, and safe. We believe that healing is possible, but also
understand healing looks different for each person. The practice promotes body
inclusivity and actively works against diet culture and fat phobia.
Meet Jordan
RDN, LDN, CEDS
Jordan DeBoard (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She is passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food and their body. Jordan has worked at the inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient levels of care helping children, adolescents and adults heal from eating disorders and disordered eating. Jordan has a special interest and expertise in helping those with with chronic medical conditions co-occurring with their eating disorder such as Diabetes and PCOS.
Jordan received her Bachelors of Science at East Tennessee State University and completed her dietetic internship at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
In her down time, Jordan is busy keeping up with her boy/girl twins, but loves to read, hike, and frequent local coffee shops.
Services
initial assessment (90 min)
The first session is about 90 min. A detailed overview of medical and eating history is obtained and a strategy discussed for nutrition goals.
Follow up (30-60 min)
Follow up sessions are typically 60 min, but may vary between 30-60 min depending. These are the most important sessions as goals will change and evolve over time so your nutrition plan needs to stay relevant to your needs.
